Cody Walters picked up the
upright in 1999 when his roomate
Charlie Rose traded in a set of
congas for an old high school bass,
needless to say "good trade."
From there he started playing
bluegrass with his friends, and
eventually expanded his
repertoire to include latin, jazz,
and some alt country. He
currently tours with April Verch.
Cody has played with Two Dollar
Shoe Revival Story, El Tio Che y la
Contrabanda, OK Jones, The
MidContinent Gravity High, Steam
Powered Airplane, and now the
April Verch Band. He lives in
Boston, MA
